Dây cáp gia nhiệt công suất không đổi HCL có 3 dây đồng song song với cùng tiết diện làm dây dẫn điện và lõi gia nhiệt, một đầu được nối tắt chắc chắn, đầu còn lại được nối với nguồn điện để tạo thành tải hình sao. Như vậy, một dây cáp gia nhiệt điện sinh nhiệt liên tục được hình thành. Tùy theo yêu cầu thực tế, ba pha của dây cáp gia nhiệt điện có thể được tách rời hoặc tích hợp thành một.
